چکیده
Atopic Dermatitis [AD] is a chronic relapsing inflammatory dermatological disease characterized by itch, dry skin, localized or disseminated eczematous lesions and hyperpigmentation of skin. There are several exogeneous endogenous risk factors for development AD. The include genetic factors, atopy, skin hyperreactivity such as food, dust, pollen, epidermal, fungal, bacterial, vaccine-associated factors. management AD includes topical treatments corticosteroids, capsaicin, calcineurin inhibitors phosphodiesterase inhibitors. Systemic therapies immunosuppressants, biologicals, gabapentinoids antidepressants provided to patients with inadequate systemic have wide range side effects limiting their use in many patients. Therefore, there need innovative treatment options. This led Janus kinase First generation JAK Tofacitinib, Baricitinib, Ruxolitinib, Oclacitinib. Comparison of diagnostic criteria for Atopic dermatitis in epidemiological studies
Atopic dermatitis is one of the commonest childhood diseases. Large variations in the prevalence of the disease have been observed in different studies. This variation in the prevalence may be not only from genetic and environmental factors but also from methodology of estimating prevalence of the disease. In this study, Hanifin and UKWP criteria have been used in determining prevalence of the ...

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a pruritic, relapsing, chronic disease that arises most commonly during infancy, childhood, or adolescence. It is clear that genetic factors are important in AD, a family history of AD, allergic rhinitis, and/or asthma and other “Atopic” phenomena being common in patient with AD. The two main pathogenetic characteristic of AD are: I) IgE-mediated antigen dependent “Spe...
متن کاملPathogenesis of Atopic Dermatitis: Current Paradigm
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is characterized by skin inflammation, barrier dysfunction and chronic pruritus. In this review, recent advances in the pathogenesis of AD are summarized. Clinical efficacy of the anti-IL-4 receptor antibody dupilumab implies that type 2 cytokines IL-4 and IL-13 have pivotal roles in atopic inflammation. The expression of IL-4 and IL-13 as well as type 2 chemokines such a...

Abstract Background and objective: Being exposed to different allergens, followed by the production of specific IgE, has an important role in causing atopic dermatitis, recognizing the allergens and applying immunotherapy for treatment. We aimed to determine the frequency of common allergens in the patients suffering from atopic dermatitis. Material and Methods: In this descriptive- anal...

Advances in knowledge of neurocellulars relations have provided new directions in the understanding and treatment of numerous conditions, including atopic dermatitis. It is known that emotional, physical, chemical or biological stimuli can generate more accentuated responses in atopic patients than in non-atopic individuals; however, the complex network of control covered by these influences, e...
